  2. I think savannaha make great pets even if you have small children or other pets. My baby gets along with my 3 dogs sleeps on top of my fish tank plays with my children and small drandchildren and even sleeps on top of my birds cage.he crys when we leave him he gives us a kiss on the lips when we set down he will come up to us and give us kisses all day and sleeps with my 7 year old daughter.we take him for walks and to the store with us and he loves the atention he gets.i would not trade him for anything…

  3. I did a lot of advertising for Savannahs at the CFA show this weekend. Even though CFA does not allow Savannah cats at their shows I got a lot of inquiries about Savannahs. I let interested spectators know that they can come visit a TICA event to see a Savannah close up.

    • We think a lot of households would benefit from a Savannah in their home 😉 But we are partial! You are now entered into the first SoS contest for a sterling silver charm from Fazio’s jewelry!

    • Hey Suzi!

Good news 🙂 Savannahs are totally legal and loved in California! All over your state- from Northern to Southern 🙂 You also have serious TICA shows in your state- Arcadia seems to be almost monthly! Definitely pop by and meet a Savannah in person!

      • Suzi,

There are lots of owners and breeders in California! I live here and got my first Savannah just over a month ago and am so in love 🙂
Also, there is an upcoming TICA cat show in Irvine. Check out the TICA website for more info.

      • Definitely, Della! Some wonderful breeders in California and some beautiful SVs out there!

    • Aw, we try! You are now entered into the first SoS contest for a sterling silver charm from Fazio’s jewelry!

  4. I love cats and miss them very much, but cannot have them any more due to a family member’s allergies. However, if I could have a cat of my own, a Savannah would be perfect. I DO enjoy watching my friends talk about their “evil” little darlings. 😀

    • Heh- they are definitely mischievous little ones! You are now entered into the first SoS contest for a sterling silver charm from Fazio’s jewelry!

  5. I can’t imaging my life without my Savannah Lily May and i really don’t want to. Here in the UK we don’t have any problems with owning a Savannah’s we just need a DWAL to own a Serval or a F1 and i hope it stays that way for all breeders in the UK as Savannah’s are relatively new here but are the best breed ever!!!!!! good luck everyone xx

    • We hope things remain the same in the UK as well- although it would be awesome if they’d drop the requirement for a permit for F1s! As you can see on the blog- F1s are big saps just as much as the other generations 🙂 Just a little bigger- so a little sappier 😉 You are now entered into the first SoS contest for a sterling silver charm from Fazio’s jewelry!

  6. Oops, I didn’t read the entire post, so here’s my official entry 🙂 My SV is my bed buddy, my clown, my stress relief, my sweetheart, tho my MC wishes I kept the receipt so I could return his little brother LOL

    • Well, we think you summed it up nicely! We agree! You are now entered into the first SoS contest for a sterling silver charm from Fazio’s jewelry!

  7. i cant imagine not having my savannahs they make our family compleate, our bed would be empty without them and the laughter would be gone. happiness truely is a savannah

  9. I don’t need the bracelet, although my fiance would probably love it. We just wanted to join and tell you that you are amazing for starting this site. Savannah’s especially need organizations like this to keep them legal. We are willing to help in any way we can.

  10. As a cat photographer, Savannahs are one of my favorite models. They are elegant, beautifully built, attentive, eager to please and full of fun and action. They hold themselves like runway models. The essence of elegance, in my book. The world would be a poorer place without them in our homes.

    • And we love your pictures of the Savannahs too! Thanks for the comment- you are now entered to win a Fazio’s charm!

  11. Savannahs are the best of all worlds….they are “velcro kitties” that want to be at your side all the times, energetic players that keep you active and when you are pooped out they are the best “snuggle bunnies” out there. Love my Savannahs!

    • They do make good snuggle buddies, huh? Thanks for the comment, Elizabeth and you are now entered into the contest for a Fazio’s charm!
